YOUTH EDUCATION-HERITAGE-LEADERSHIP

Welcome to the IWDIMAA Program for Youth!

Empowering Excellence, Nurturing Roots!

At the Cameroonian Association of Edmonton (CAE), we believe that the prosperity of any community hinges upon the cultivation of excellence in its youth. With this core principle in mind, we proudly introduce the IWDIMAA program – a name derived from "my roots" in Foulbe, the most widely spoken language in North Cameroon. IWDIMAA is not just a program; it's a commitment to promoting excellence, preserving our cultural heritage, and equipping our youngest members for a brighter future.

Our Mission:

Cultivating Excellence: Excellence doesn't just happen; it's nurtured. We've made it our mission to provide the tools, knowledge, and support necessary for our youth to excel in all aspects of life.

Preserving Heritage: Our roots are our strength. IWDIMAA is dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of our community, ensuring that traditions, languages, and customs are passed down to future generations.

What IWDIMAA Offers:

1.Education:

  • Tutoring: We provide academic support to ensure that our youth excel in their studies. Our tutoring program is designed to help them reach their full potential.

  • Financial literacy: We instill an entrepreneurial mindset, teaching the principles of wealth creation and business acumen. We believe that financial empowerment is key to a prosperous future.

2.Sports & Culture: Every child has unique talents waiting to be discovered. IWDIMAA fosters the development of sports, artistic abilities, linguistic skills, and culinary talents. We believe that nurturing these talents not only enriches their lives but also strengthens our cultural identity.

3.Digital Awareness: In an era of smartphones and social networks, we recognize the importance of responsible digital citizenship. IWDIMAA raises awareness among youth about the potential dangers of social networks while also promoting the positive use of smart devices and the internet.
